They have ambitions, secrets, loyalties, and unfinished business - making them useful allies, memorable adversaries, or unexpected complications for your players.

Whether you are looking for a character to fill an immediate role, an NPC to anchor an adventure, or inspiration for an entire storyline, Personalities gives you fully realized individual ready to bring the world of 1879 to life.

Thirteen characters. Countless stories.

The question isn't whether they will become part of your campaign. It's what they will do to it.

Victoria and Albert rule over a steam-powered British Empire that spans two worlds. Thanks to the anomaly known as the Rabbit Hole, a train ride away from London lies the Grosvenor Land, a new world of plains, towering mountains, giant insects and Babylonians with weir science zombies. Seems they got there first, three thousand years ago, and they're not exactly the welcoming sort. The Saurid tribes, lizard-like folk who ride theropods and Pteranodons, complicate matters further. Back home on Earth, engineering has brought mechanical computing to the world, and micro-steam engines drive airships through the sky. Stranger things are afoot, as a bit of magic seems to have come into the world with the opening of the portal. People are changing, secret societies are finding their ancient rituals a bit more effective. Who knows what might be lurking in the forests these days, or in the shipment from China?
